With less than two weeks to go, we ask for participants to carefully read over the Race Bible as it contains important information on race schedule, rules, and courses.

JUNIOR CHAMPIONSHIPS TO INCLUDE U17 AND U19

Backed by strong request, the Junior Criterium Cycling Championships will permit U17 aged riders to race with U19's. U17 aged riders who still wish to participate but elect to not race the Championship may participate in ability based youth racing sponsored by Cycling BC at 11:30 am.

NORTH SAANICH TIME TRIAL TO BE ON ROAD BIKES ONLY

We are reiterating that the June 3 North Saanich Time Trial will follow the rule of "Road Bike Only" ...or Merckx style as it is commonly known. This means no Time Trial Bike, No Aero Bars, and using conventional road bike equipment. This is our attempt to keep it safe for racers of all abilities and levels as the course is very technical and contains tight U-turns. We also want to level the playing field so that the legs determine the winner, not the equipment.

PARKING AT NORTH SAANICH TIME TRIAL

Participants will be permitted to Park near the Start / Finish on John Road and also on the east side of MacDonald Park Road. There will be limited parking at the Canadian Tire, but only in the designated area offered that will be coned. Vehicles that are parked in an unauthorized area at Canadian Tire may be towed at owners expense.

LIMITED NEUTRAL SUPPORT FOR METCHOSIN ROAD RACE

Due to constraints on the number of vehicles that we are permitted to have on the Road Race Course at once, we will be limiting which races will have a follow vehicle with spare wheels. There will be a wheel pit near the start finish. In addition we will have a sweep vehicle to pick up riders who are unable to continue.
